The meeting focused on exploring a partnership to jointly develop and deploy advanced laboratory diagnostic solutions across Sub-Saharan Africa, reinforcing Cassona's expansion into providing a full spectrum of diagnostic services beyond medical imaging.

Through this collaboration, Cassona and DiYalab aim to introduce an integrated Total Laboratory Diagnostic Solution designed to meet the growing demand for scalable, efficient, and affordable healthcare diagnostics in West Africa.

By combining Cassona's expertise in healthcare infrastructure and diagnostic imaging with DiYalab's advanced laboratory technologies and decades of experience, the partnership will support the delivery of comprehensive diagnostic services aligned with Cassona's Triple-A Healthcare Principle: Acute Diagnostics, Accessible Locations, and Affordable Treatment.

A key focus of the collaboration is the development of high-capacity diagnostic centers capable of serving between 500 and 2,000 patients per day, significantly improving access to timely and accurate diagnostics across underserved communities. These centers will integrate laboratory testing with imaging diagnostics, enabling faster clinical decision-making and improved patient outcomes.

The partnership will also leverage DiYalab's innovative Time-Resolved Fluorescence Immunoassay (TR-FIA) technology, which enables rapid and highly accurate diagnostic results—often within 15 minutes—supporting early disease detection and more effective treatment pathways.

In addition to infrastructure development, both parties are exploring the establishment of a Regional Diagnostic Innovation and Training Center, aimed at strengthening local capacity, supporting clinical research, and advancing laboratory medicine across the region.
