Cassona Global Imaging has carried out its annual Ramadan donation exercise at three of Ghana's most prominent Islamic centers: the Ghana National Mosque in Accra, the KNUST Islamic Centre in Kumasi, and the Hamad Saeed Ubaid Al-Shamsi Mosque in Tamale.
These donations, made ahead of the month-long spiritual observance, underscore Cassona's commitment to promoting community well-being and strengthening the spirit of unity and compassion that Ramadan represents. This initiative has been part of Cassona's corporate social responsibility efforts to uplift faith-based institutions and support the millions of Muslims who rely on these centers for worship, learning, and communal support during Ramadan.
Donation at the Ghana National Mosque, Accra
At the Ghana National Mosque—one of the largest and most significant Islamic complexes in the country, Dr. Mohammed Bazuk, Personal Assistant to the National Chief Imam, received the donation on behalf of the Mosque and expressed appreciation to Cassona.
He emphasised that the relationship between Cassona and the National Mosque should be long-term and not limited to seasonal donations.
He further suggested that the partnership could be expanded to include health screenings and other community-centered initiatives that would benefit the public and enhance Cassona's visibility. Additionally, Alhaji Abdul Tango, Programme Officer for the National Chief Imam, mentioned an ongoing hospital project and expressed interest in involving Cassona when the project is completed.
The Secretary to the National Chief Imam, Abubakar Yussif Zenoah, also conveyed gratitude to Cassona and encouraged the company to maintain a lasting relationship with the Mosque.
Donation at KNUST Islamic Centre, Kumasi
In Kumasi, the President of the Ghana Muslim Students Association at KNUST, Jibril Sherif, expressed heartfelt appreciation for Cassona's generous donation.
He noted that this was not the first time the company had supported Muslim students, as Cassona consistently makes donations every Ramadan season.
He added that many students had been concerned about how they would find meals during the fasting period, and Cassona's timely support brought relief and encouragement to many.
Donation at Hamad Saeed Ubaid Al-Shamsi Mosque, Tamale
In Tamale, where the Islamic faith plays a central role in cultural identity and daily life, the President of the Ghana Muslim Students Association at the University of Development Studies (UDS), Abdul Salaam, also expressed deep gratitude to Cassona for its continued support.
He described Cassona's generosity as exceptional and stated that the company had demonstrated a unique kindness that cannot easily be described.
Cassona's Commitment to Shared Prosperity
Speaking on behalf of Cassona, Gladys Tetteh, Cassona's spokesperson, highlighted the importance of supporting communities during Ramadan.
She stated: "Ramadan is a season of reflection, compassion, and giving. As a company rooted in community values, we believe it is important to stand with the community and support those who may need assistance as they observe the fast. At Cassona, giving back is not just a corporate responsibility—it is part of who we are. We are honored to share in the spirit of generosity that defines this holy month."
