The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Cassona Global Imaging Limited, John Chigbu, has attributed the seemingly intractable medical tourism among Nigerians to poor access to quality healthcare caused by a lack of advanced medical equipment, limited funding, and inadequate infrastructure.

The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Cassona Global Imaging Limited, John Chigbu, on Thursday raised concerns over medical tourism among Nigerians, attributing it to poor access to quality healthcare within the country.

Cassona Global Imaging Ltd has begun operations in Nigeria with the official launch of medical imaging programme and medical equipment. With the launch, the company, a lead distributor of advanced diagnostic imaging technology across Africa, intends to bridge the gaps in healthcare infrastructure in the country.

Spurred by the desire to bridge the health gap in Africa, Cassona Global Imaging Ltd in partnership with the United States Government have unveiled state -of -the- art diagnostic equipment to boost healthcare services in Nigeria.

The United States Mission in Nigeria has welcomed the launch of a private firm, Cassona Global Imaging operations in the country, hailing the investment as a significant boost to the nation's healthcare sector.
